Switching Over

The picnic on Sunday was probably one of the best times I’ve had so far. It was low-key, a goid chance to wind down after the game jam; and between that and the get-togethers Hannes held at his flat, I was really appreciating just eating & getting to know each other.

Monday, in contrast, was awful. The extremely long transit time was unavoidable, but once we arrived in Berlin, we were rushing to get to Parliament. Between riding to Parliament, getting through security, and the actual discussion, it took a considerable amount of time and – frankly – didn’t seem especially relevant to us, much less interesting. By the time we finished dinner, there was, once again, no chance to actually do much or go anywhere.

It felt like a day that was neither fun, nor all that meaningful or educational. Honestly I’m somewhat dreading the second Parliament trip apparently happening Wednesday now.
